Kuro Suju Tomato

Kuro Suju tomato produces 1-1,5 oz.(30-40g) round red-burgundy background fruits patterned with green-brown stripes. It belongs to the “Kumato” type of dark tomato varieties. This famous tomato is very durable and crack-resistant, with a great classic flavour, described as very sweet, dense, and juicy. Ideal for fresh eating, sun-drying, and whole-fruit canning. They also store well after harvesting. 

The variety is very productive in cold climates and adverse weather conditions, does excellent in the garden and has exceptional potential for containers. 

Kuro Suju tomato was developed by Japanese breeders at Tashido Seeds.

Determinate plant averages 70cm tall with regular leaves, early-season.
