Michael Pollan Tomato

Michael Pollan (also known as “Mint Julep”) tomato produces 1.7 – 3.2 oz. (50-90g) pear-shaped dark yellow fruits with green splashes and narrow “apical tips”. This variety is highly productive – “multiflora” type, with up to 30 tomatoes per cluster! Fruits are very dense, crack-resistant and can be stored for a long time!  The flesh is minty-yellow, sweet and distinct, with a pleasant, tart edge and spicy undertones. The fruits are well-suited for a variety of uses, including salads, salsa, and cooking, and are a popular choice for home gardeners.

Indeterminate plant with regular leaves, mid- to mid-late season.
